Corpus Christi, TX, (Grassroots NewsWire) January 12, 2009 -
National life and health insurer Bankers Life and Casualty Company announced
that two field trainers working out of the company's sales offices in Texas
added a new industry designation to their credentials.
Connie Lines and Catherine Ferris earned the Certified in Long-Term
Care (CLTC) designation offered by the Corporation for Long-Term Care
Certifications, Inc. The designation is designed to help insurance and
financial professionals educate their clients about how planning for long-term
care can benefit their families and their retirement portfolios. It's awarded
after the completion of a seven-part study program and a written examination.
"We're proud of Connie and Catherine for having furthered their
knowledge of long-term care," said Wade Massey, Branch Sales Manager of
Bankers' Corpus Christi, Texas sales office. "As a long-term care insurer, both
are to be commended for improving their ability to train our agents on this
very important subject."
Both Lines and Ferris have been with Bankers since 2006. Lines
works as a field trainer at the Corpus Christi, Texas sales office located at
Corona Drive, Ste 131. Ferris, also a field trainer, works out of the Mission,
Texas sales office located at 3805 Plantation Grove Blvd., Ste. 22.
