We're proud to specialize in seniors and support the causes that affect our extended family.
Read on to learn more about our partnerships with the Alzheimer's Association and Meals on Wheels.
Alzheimer's Association
Experts estimate that 5.1 million Americans have Alzheimer's disease. By 2050, that number
could range between 11 million to 16 million.
The Alzheimer's Association is leading the fight against this disease through funding for
research, patient and caregiver support and public advocacy, and Bankers is proud to support the
Association and their mission.
For five years running, Bankers has organized Forget Me Not Days®, our homegrown fundraiser
to collect donations for the Alzheimer's Association and raise public awareness of the disease.
In 2007, agents and volunteers nationwide raised more than $178,000 for local Alzheimer's chapters.
In addition, Bankers recognized the Association on a national level with a $100,000 unrestricted
donation to aid in the support of its mission.

Meals on Wheels Chicago
All too often, chronic illness and injury limit seniors' mobility, making simple acts such as shopping
for groceries and preparing meals impossible. For housebound seniors, Meals on Wheels Chicago delivers
more than just a hot meal. Volunteers also offer words of encouragement and a critical connection to
the outside world.
In 2007, Bankers renewed our commitment to Meals on Wheels Chicago by donating $40,000 to help make
their top annual fundraiser, the Celebrity Chef Ball, a success.
Since 1987, Meals on Wheels Chicago has served almost 10,000,000 meals to homebound seniors.
